The Hardlife Hydraulic Timber Grabs are heavy duty hydraulic grapples comprising two interlocking arms, specifically designed for handling logs, but also handy for stumps and stone/rocks. These are far more robustly built than the forest crane free-hanging type log grabs.
The timber grab is optimised for both easy loading and tight closing to ensure control and safety during operation. With a continuous radius to the inside of the legs and an asymmetric design, rolling logs in to the centre of the grip is guaranteed. Additionally, the geometry and the cylinder stroke has been finely tweaked to ensure that even the smallest limbs can be tightly gripped against the housing.
