The tines are manufactured from thick structural steel, with HB400 abrasion resistant (AR) steel reinforcements on the tines to prevent bending and wear, making them the ideal tool for forestry and land clearance applications.
The curved shape also aids penetration and reduces strain on the tine as it crowds through its digging cycle. The application for the root rake therefore differs from our landscaping rake, which with narrower tine spacings is geared towards dealing with surface layers of topsoil and loose material.
